Mahesh Manjrekar Meets ‘Kala Hiran’ Producer Amit Jani In Mumbai, Salman Khan Fans Call Him ‘Aastin Ka Saanp’

Veteran actor and filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar recently met filmmaker Amit Jani in Mumbai, sparking fresh discussions around the controversial film Kala Hiran: The Battle for Legacy. The meeting quickly caught attention on social media, with many fans of Salman Khan expressing disappointment and anger over Manjrekar's association with the producer.

According to reports, Mahesh Manjrekar and Amit Jani met to discuss a potential film project. A photograph from their meeting was shared online by Jani, who referred to Manjrekar as a respected filmmaker and revealed that discussions regarding a future collaboration had taken place. However, the post did not go down well with a section of Salman Khan’s fanbase, who flooded social media with criticism and questioned Manjrekar’s decision to meet the producer of Kala Hiran.

The controversy comes at a time when Kala Hiran is already facing legal and public scrutiny. The film is reportedly inspired by the 1998 blackbuck poaching case linked to Salman Khan, prompting the actor’s legal team to issue a notice demanding that the project be halted. The filmmakers, however, have maintained their stand and continued promoting the film despite the legal challenge.

In recent days, Amit Jani has also claimed that he received numerous death threats after publicly tearing up the legal notice sent by Salman Khan’s legal team. He alleged that thousands of threatening messages were sent to him within a short span of time, raising concerns about his safety.

As discussions surrounding Kala Hiran continue to intensify, the meeting between Mahesh Manjrekar and Amit Jani has added another layer to the ongoing controversy, leaving Salman Khan’s fans upset and reigniting debate across social media platforms.
